Melting crayons

Elijah is at that age where he just loves to draw, but he's a bit rough on the old crayons. I was getting sick of putting lots of crayons bits back in their container each week, so luckily this project that is all over the Internet came to mind. Garland

This year’s aim seems to be to fill the house with garlands. Here are the homemade ones thus far: Felt stars- a few years old now. I wrote brief instructions to make one here Bunting! Doily Garland

Today we’re going to make a doily garland. It’s essentially a string of doily’s and paper circles sewn together. You need: 1 packet of paper doilys. My garland used 32 (plus one extra for your circle template) Christmas themed paper circle template – cut the centre circle from your spare doily. scissors sewing machine, thread 1. Easy Christmas Garland

Need something to add some cheer to the hallway? Why not whip up one of these very easy felt garlands! You’ll need: 6 sheets of felt in green, white and red (or whichever colours you like!) Glitter glue Embroidery thread Star templates in two sizes (these can easily be found by googling- or draw you own!) Scissors Needle 1.
