Free Christmas filler cards

Hi there, Sometimes I need a fairly basic filler card in my December Daily that adds a bit of colour, but doesn’t detract too much from the photos on the page. I thought I’d see if I could use some words to make a tree and this is what I came up with. There’s only one style, but there’s 9 colours to choose from and it comes in both 3×4 and 4×4 inches. I hope you like them. In case you’re curious, the font is called Minty and can be purchased from  ...

2015 December Calendar freebies 6x8inch

Hi everyone! Things are getting a bit busy here. I’m now 32 weeks pregnant and am trying to manage a lot of projects at once, as well as the day to day. There’s outdoor projects like; painting the exterior of the house, installing a watering system, edging garden beds and planting veggies (which of course my husband is helping with). Then the indoor which are largely my projects like; preparing the foundation pages for my December Daily, washing and sorting tiny little baby  ...

December pocket calendars 2015

Hello! I’m running a bit behind schedule with my December pocket scrapbooking freebies this year, so expect to see some more over the coming week or two. This is the third year I’ve offered these December pocket calendars. I hope someone finds a use for them! There’s 8 different colour schemes included along with a Photoshop/Elements brush file, and a PNG overlay so you can create your own if mine aren’t to your taste. You can also use the PNG file as an overlay in  ...

Free Halloween Pocket Cards

Do you celebrate Halloween? Eleven years ago I was in America in the lead up to Halloween and I remember being in awe of all the decorated houses in New England, seeing pumpkins for sale on the sidewalks of New York. The stores had Halloween cards, Halloween themed Snickers bars… it went on and on and was amazing. While we do celebrate a bit more in Australia these days we have nothing on this! I have found myself in need of some Halloween pocket cards the last few years mainly due to  ...

Mothers Day Journal Cards

It’s Mothers Day in Australia next weekend, so I’ve create a few cards to use in your layouts. There is an additional card not pictured, which is a 6×4 version of the ‘Memories of my Mother’ card. << Download the ZIP containing 5 PNG files>> On the fonts: Something I’ve touched on in a previous post, is that when creating digital freebies you can’t just assume it’s ok to use fonts and clip art. Even fonts and clip art you  ...

Some Christmas Printables

The weeks are just flying by here, and all my plans of keeping my blog up to date have just flown out the window. As mentioned in previous posts, I am working on a December Daily album this year, but as yet I haven’t completed any pages to post about. I’m only a couple of days behind with printing photos, but the journaling and embellishment isn’t done for any entire day yet. Stay tuned; I may have something to show tomorrow! As far as freebies go, I had been working on  ...

Christmas To-do lists

I’m frantically trying to get quite a few craft related things done over the next week; be completely up to date on Project Life, make two Christmas picnic quilts before the first of the Christmas parties, and prepare my Christmas Planner and foundation pages for my December Daily. In order to stay on track, particularly with the Christmas stuff, I’ve whipped up some Christmas to do lists for my planner. If you can use a Christmas list or two, feel free to print them out.  ...

Free Easter Cards

Today I have some free Easter themed filler and journal cards for your personal use in four colour schemes. I included an Autumn colour scheme as it’s Autumn here in the Southern Hemisphere as well as the more ‘traditional’ pastel schemes. Because Hot Cross Buns are a big deal for me around Easter I included a blank square to put a photo of your hot cross buns in, either physically or digitally. If you do it digitally you’ll need to either crop a photo square then drag it on, or create a  ...

Free Watercolour Printable Journal Cards

Late last year I vowed that I would post a freebie a week this year. That was a bit ambitious really given the amount of time it takes to put freebies together. Creating the cards themselves isn’t the problem, it’s the preview files, the pdf’s, the zips etc that takes time.. or maybe it just seems to because it’s tedious. Anyway. This week I decided to try and create some 3×4 Project Life style cards by splattering watercolours on some grid cards and adding some stamps. I liked the  ...
