My how time is flying  at the moment. I’m scraping this week’s freebie in by the skin of my teeth! It has been noticed by a friend that I haven’t posted any PL layouts for a few weeks. Well, I’ve been so consumed with making things for my December Daily album that I fell a little behind. I’ll have some catch up posts happening this week.

Let’s talk December Daily, Documenting December.. whatever else you may call it. I haven’t done much on my album physically as yet. I’ve been making digital cards for it, as you’ve seen, and I’ve spent a lot of time gazing longingly at pretty papers on online stores and wondering if I just *need* that one more things to make my album perfect. You know how it goes.

I have done my cover though…

I wanted it to be fairly simple as I haven’t paper scrapped in a long time, and truth be told I’ve lost a lot of those skills. I constructed the tree from triangles, cut out a pot and trunk, then embellished it with some cut outs from Basic Grey’s 25th and Pine collection which is the main collection I’m using. I use DIY thickers dipped in gold glitter for the year.

Next I started to tackle the foundation pages. I realised pretty quickly that I wasn’t really thrilled with the number stickers I had chosen to use for my daily pages. I ended up making my own, and that is also this week’s freebie. The colour scheme below coordinates really well with 24th and Pine, and also works nicely among a lot of the vintagey collections, like Silent Night and Gingerbread to name a couple. If the multi-coloured numbers don’t work for you, never fear, I’ve also included an all red set.

The zip file contains two A4 PDF files containing 24 one inch circles in multi colours, and red. I am using one of my calendar cards for the 25th, hence why there are only 24 days.
