This week I revisited my first core kit; Honey. I used it the week I started PL, then once I started doing more digitally I no longer loved it, or even really liked it, so I sold two thirds of it off and wondered if I’d even use the rest. Enter week 6. I needed something with strong colours to help tie this one together and honey did the trick.

I had a few gaps to fill this week, so I added the ‘before’ photos in next to the Instagram ones in the middle of the inserts. I pulled out my childhood Fabuland and Lego for Elijah to play with this week. It was pretty cool to see it all still set up from the final game I’d played. I love that the little animals are wearing fabric outfits. My sister and I made clothes for everything when we were kids.

Col, who’s almost as spooked by hunstman spiders as I am, removed one from the house in a jar this week. It definitely was an event that deserved a 6×4 slot! The hot weather seems to have brought all kinds of big spiders inside this summer. Yuck!
