Herbs
Posting daily is getting harder and harder! I still have 16 days to go! Here’s my herb garden. How do you store your fresh herbs? I saw a novel way on Pinterest where you freeze them in ice cube trays with olive oil. I’m going to try this.

i think freezing in oil is a great idea, and i’ll do it when arty’s a bit bigger and the majority of the freezer space isn’t given over to baby food XD
i dry herbs in the dehydrator, and then store them in jars (as you would have seen on instagram). they’re not fresh any more, but they retain their flavour better than the dried herbs you can buy from the supermarket.

October 16, 2012 at 9:24 amThat’s a gorgeous herb garden. I find if I wrap a bunch of herbs in paper towel and keep them in the crisper, they last ages.
