I’m currently enjoying a nice week off work. I’ve done a bit of crochet (more about that later), stocked up on some flannels to make a baby quilt, done some pottering in the garden and visited Herronswood which is actually the point of this post.

For those of you unfamiliar, Herronswood is the home of the Digger’s Club located in Dromana. We went down there hoping to buy some bean seeds and apple trees, returning with those plus a cranberry plant, strawberry and various other seeds including one of my personal favourites, coneflowers.

Herronswood the house wasn’t open to look in, but we wandered through the gardens which were just beautiful.

We were particularly taken with their wonderful veggie patch!
