Our Home

it’s the most wonderful time of the year….

I had an annual leave day today so I decided that since I’ll be at work for the majority of tomorrow, today would be a good day to get the tree out, clean up a bit and wonder how I’ve managed to accumulate such an enormous amount of decorations ready to be put up tomorrow.

Secrets out! I had to buy a whole cupboard for my decorations.

Pretty things in the box! The felt hearts were last years Christmas craft project. I’m going to make them for other people this year. The felt stars are the year before’s project, the improvement in my stitching is rather noticeable!

Where is it all going to go?

Stay tuned for the next update!

*sigh* this is one of the reasons i really want a more permanent home. I love xmas decorations and I don’t really get to do the decorating thing in melbourne :(

I don’t really put my tree up til about the 22nd, and take it down again on twelft night.

I probably have as many decorations and thats so we can use different combinations each year. Sometimes it’s great fun going through them because you re-discover some and can’t remember ever having bought them! It’s great fun for the kids!

I keep mine in the loft.
