My Creative Space

wool

I stocked up on some yarn in colours I like but wouldn’t usually pick for the house. Usually I’d go with teals, blues and purples, not add the yellows and corals into the mix.

I’m planning to make a basic, straightforward throw out of these. I’m already working on a hexagon throw so basic is good. I’m thinking something like this, but with white or grey edging instead of black. I like the idea of not having to swap colours for each round which should make it a faster project that I actually finish before next year!

Love those colours! And I agree that grey edging would work really well! :-)

Good idea with the blocks of colour- saves all the weaving in of the ends!

I love the colours too – they will look great together in a throw. Good luck and enjoy!

Thanks for visiting – those colours will look great in a blanket. Looking forward to seeing it grow.
