Project Life Week 3

This week was a really hot week and most of my photos are focussed on how hot it was. When looking for some cards to use I settled on the oranges of Kaisercraft’s Favourite Things. It’s not quite as bright as it’s turned out in the photos. My photos are a bit dark and photoshop’s auto adjustments have blown it all out. Most of the week was spent inside trying to keep cool, but there were some fun outdoor moments, especially when the rain came, although without a cool change it quickly became muggy and yuck!

I completed a separate spread this week for my mum’s birthday party. Fortunately the hot weather had passed and it was a lovey late afternoon/evening of mid 20’s. Mum’s birthday colours were purple and pink. I chose Kaisercraft’s Happy Days to compliment the colours of the party and green of the park. I hadn’t used these cards yet and was pleased to see how well they worked.

Some of the photos in this layout are quite dark, but there are so few photos of my family all together that I had to include them.

i love doing a separate spread for a particular day – i did one for christmas, and it meant i didn’t have to be so choosy about the photos from the day, and could still include all the other nice stuff that happened that week.

Have you put your Christmas spread up? I think I’ve missed it!
