The first rose
One of my rose bushes has already produced a rose despite not having many leaves yet! Very odd!
Here it is along with some other pretties currently living in the garden; the marigolds are in our new veggie patch!

September 16, 2008 at 7:04 amWhat a beautiful rose! I hope it has stood up to all the wind and rain over night. I was surprised on the weekend to see some of my rose bushes were covered in flower buds and, like yours, still have very few leaves.
