USA/Canada
In honour of the fact that this time two months ago and this time five years ago I was in the USA, here’s a few pics from our recent trip. They’re really random, but eventually I’ll put all of them up onto Flickr.
This is in the Cloisters, a museum in NYC dedicated to medieval art, mainly religious. It was AMAZING. The artworks you see on the walls are tapestries that are hundreds of years old. To stand in front of them and imagine someone/s working on them was incredible.
Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal – I’m not a religious person, but wow, this was just wow!
Quebec City. We stayed in the Chateau Frontenac. See the tall building where the green roof starts? Our room was up there!
Best mojito EVER!! Ruby Tuesday’s – Times Square

October 9, 2009 at 10:43 pmGreat photos! I used to live in Montreal. The Basilica is amazing isn’t it? Did you go to the sound and light show?
Looks like your visited in the warmth of summer. Here is one of my photos of Chateau Frontenac … taken in -29oC!
I must go and take a peek at your Flickr pool for more.
