Christmas Stitchery
I rather ambitiously decided to do a Christmas stitchery for the hallway. I admit I traced the wee cottages from some clip art then embellished as I saw fit because I just couldn’t get them right free hand! Due to my lack of embroidery skills it is rustic, but as we know, I quite like rustic.
Stitching your own handwriting is harder than I imagined!
Birdie is from Bed, Bath and Table. I love that shop.
While a bit washed out, the photo below shows the colour of the floss better. The tiny snow flakes are done in a metallic blue.
