This is my third year of participating in December Daily®. December Daily® is a mini scrapbook project created by Ali Edward’s to capture December. You can learn more at her website.

I am on The Stamp Spot Documenting December Design Team and am using Michelle’s wonderful kit for my December Daily along with some extra items from my stash. You can buy the beautiful kit here, and visit Michelle’s blog here.

Day Four

This layout hasn’t photographed very well, the weather can’t decide whether it’s sunny, overcast, or raining today which makes things tricky, but I really love how it looks in real life. Today was all about getting the Christmas shopping done, so I cut up the bag and catalogue I received in Kikki K for the filler papers. They go really nicely with the colours in the photos.

I wasn’t sure how I would use the paper with the blue and white stripes so I was pleased when it went perfectly with the rest of the layout.

Day Five

Photo 11-12-2015, 16 28 24

Big day for us as we had our members Christmas party at the local miniature railway that I belong to. I’ve blurred out the other people for their privacy. It was a hot day and the kids all had so much fun. I wanted to include lots of photos, so there are quite a few pages to Day Five.

I used Picmonkey for the mosaics which I then stuck to some red cardstock. To break up the photos I used lots of sequins and stars on the next page. The last page has a few notes about the day, plus I’ve mentioned the carols we missed and fireworks we almost missed.

Day Six

We took today very easy as I’d overdone things a bit, which unfortunately meant we missed out on a BBQ catch up with friends. In the evening I took some photos of Elijah and the tree which became today’s story.

This page uses a card I made using a beautiful freebie script card by Alex Hunter. As soon as she shared it I knew I wanted to use it in my layout.

The remaining photos I printed out at roughly 5×7 and mounted them to some cardstock.
