December Daily – Days 7-9
This is my third year of participating in December Daily®. December Daily® is a mini scrapbook project created by Ali Edward’s to capture December. You can learn more at her website.
I am on The Stamp Spot Documenting December Design Team and am using Michelle’s wonderful kit for my December Daily along with some extra items from my stash. You can buy the beautiful kit here, and visit Michelle’s blog here.
Elijah’s Kindergarten concert! This evening didn’t go as planned as he had fallen asleep not long before the concert and was then too overwhelmed to perform. We did get to do some Christmas activities with him though, and he brought home lots of decorations he’s been busy making. He was very proud to hang them on the tree.
I really didn’t do much today as I have to be conscious of my back and pelvis. It’s pretty frustrating as I’d rather be out enjoying Christmas activities. I made this Jingle Bell Rock freebie for a lady in the December Daily group who wanted one, but could no longer find it. It’s very basic, but printed on gold shiny paper, it comes up quite nice. If you want one (there’s 8 variants) you can download the zip here. If you’re on a phone and the zip file comes up in jibberish, you can download them from my dropbox, but I can’t guarantee how long I’ll leave the files there for.
If you look at this page two things will probably jump out; first is the sequins falling through into the bottom pocket. My fused pockets seem to come undone every now and then which is a bit annoying. The mangled pocket at the top is from me repairing a pocket that came undone. It looks terrible!
On the back I have the view of part of the house through the window of another part. It always looks so cosy with the lights on.
Today is just a simple one page spread about the fudge we made for Elijah’s kinder party today. I included the recipe directly on the photo using a Signo white gel pen.
