In Bloom

I enjoy the challenge of Blogtoberfest but I am finding it a little challenging to post about sewing and craft every single day, especially when I haven’t done any sewing since Tuesday, so expect me to wander off topic every now and then! Today I’m showing you some things in the garden that I’m looking forward to.

Clockwise from left: granny smith in flower for the first time; we planted it in 2008 | strawberries appearing | one of 10 flower spikes on my watsonia bulbs (expect many photos once these come out!) | a peach on the peach tree.

We’ve been doing a lot of work in the garden and at present it really is a mess, but Spring has brought lots of new growth and flowers and each day it’s looking a little bit better!

I know what you mean, it certainly does get harder as the week goes on.
