Safety switches and flowers
Very little crafting took place today. I spent the morning without power after the microwave tripped the safety switch. I unplugged it, reset the switch, and continued on my way only to have the kettle trip it half an hour later. A lengthy investigation, rapidly dropping temperature, and several calls to a very kind electrician later and I still didn’t know why it happened, but it stopped happening. Phew.
Next up I noticed it had become a warmish day so Elijah and I did some work in the weeds garden.
I picked some small flowers; I’m particularly fond of the old fashioned salmon coloured geranium, it has quite an unusual flower. It grew from a cutting I took in Echuca two years back.

It was weird how it was freezing and heater-worthy this morning then seemed to get warmer really suddenly. My poor cat doesn’t know whether to shed fur or start refluffing up her winter coat again. Melbourne weather is just the best.
