Modern Calligraphy

I like most of the scrapbooking/stationery/papercraft world really love the look of modern calligraphy. I have a calligraphy pen, but it’s a good old Sheaffer and somewhere along the line I misplaced my fine nib, so it isn’t easy to get the look I like. So I’ve been faking it. This is just a practise piece I’ve done propped up in bed but I really like the way they turn out and can see a lot of potential for my fauxligragphy once I get a little more precise. It’s really helping me develop a  ...

Catching up on Project Life

As I’ve mentioned before, I’m really not enjoying being so far behind with my Project Life. I don’t take good enough notes throughout the week to enable me to remember the little moments and I feel that the layouts I’ve been doing recently don’t have the same depth as last years when I was so  ...

Transition Complete!

Around a week ago I made the call to combine my blogs once and for all. I thought it might be nice to update my theme a bit given this blog was branded to match my business rather than reflect what it now is; a blog about home life and hobbies. This layout feels more ‘me’ than my previous  ...

New look…

A few months ago I gave my blog a facelift, but if truth be told; I kind of hate it. I stepped out of my usual style and just haven’t been happy with it to the detriment of blogging.  I hastily popped a new header up a while ago while playing with some ideas and have essentially created a  ...

Free Easter Cards

Today I have some free Easter themed filler and journal cards for your personal use in four colour schemes. I included an Autumn colour scheme as it’s Autumn here in the Southern Hemisphere as well as the more ‘traditional’ pastel schemes. Because Hot Cross Buns are a big deal for me around  ...

Project Life–Week 11

It seems no sooner do I catch up, that I fall behind again. This week I really tried to scale back on the amount of photos I used, and add some more white space. I have purchased a few partial kits of late. This week I used Kiwi but tried to stick to a couple of colours rather than get carried  ...
