Life and Outings

A bit of this and that

Craft: The craft front has been  a bit on the non-existent side since I returned to work.  I keep reminding myself of my list though and that I’m not supposed to beat myself up over it this year. Although my list doesn’t explicitly say that. My bad! Pregnancy: There are some other things going on right now too. I’ve been having strange severe pains lately, mainly at night, which leave me feeling exhausted and yuck. Turns out I have gallstones. Being pregnant there’s  ...

This morning I had sudden cravings for Devonshire Tea. We had been intending to go car hunting this morning as yesterday’s weather was too hot, but instead we decided to potter in the garden, go down and do some shopping on the bikes then make our own Devonshire Tea. Happy New Year! Yesterday I offered a sneak peek of the sundress I made for last night; here’s the details! I used Heather Ross’ Mendocino Sundress pattern as the base with the following alterations: I considerably shortened the dress to go from awkward below the knee length to above the knee  ...

New Year’s Eve

Today’s post was going to be a wrap up of the year especially since I have three months worth of photos to blog about. However given the heat in my study I’m abandoning that idea and doing a small post from my phone! I’m looking forward to where craft takes me next year. I  ...
